Established in 2001, Dr. ColorChip Corporation recognized the need for a professional paint chip repair system that was simplistic in its design allowing for ease of use by relative novices to the auto touch-up industry.
Our mission is to provide contractors in the touch-up repair industry a competitive edge with state of the art technology for superior repairs. Additionally, we cater directly to dealerships that desire to perform these repairs in-house, as well as auto detailers and car care service centers in search of additional profit centers. In just a few years, Dr. ColorChip has opened 26 markets in 16 different states, quickly becoming the dominant touch-up provider in each market.
In 2006, we began offering a 1-color paint chip repair kit to the general public, allowing owners to perform fast, simple, professional touch up repairs on their own cars. Each paint kit is made one at a time per the OEM color formulation
